Chinese New Year 2020

Following the Lunar calendar, Chinese New Year starts on 25th January 2020 and welcomes the spring harvest. There is much more to Chinese New Year than a few days of celebrations.

During the festival there are various customs and traditions performed by those who celebrate Chinese New Year.

Events such as Dragon and Lion parades take place, firework displays, street markets and more. However, one of the most important aspects of the festival is the coming together of family for food and parties.
